If you don't win the one you are bidding for do let me know. I have a spare John Jenkins steamer we could come to an agreement about if it would fit the bill.

Thanks for that.

I've just had my bid accepted. What did you do with yours? Spray undercoat etc?

I've just left it as it came. I haven't used it enough to go to anymore effort than that!

If I remember rightly I added deck planks, altered the layout of the funnel, added coal/fuel bunker, steam engine and large cleats and bollards then all the bits were glued to appropriate deck but I left the second deck off.  Actually that is what I did to the PMC steamer not the John Jenkins!!!!!!!!!!!  If I read things correctly and used my brain I could be dangerous.

John - photos my man, photos.

You know i've never had an original gaming idea.

Actually, im quite pleased with the one i bought. I've had my eye on that model for some time. I can now do a scenario based on Conrad's Heart of Darkness. And i won't now buy one of fabulous but huge steamers  :D
