New from Bronze Age Miniatures
« on: 04 March 2012, 09:17:52 AM »
Hei,

David from Bronze Age Minis soon will release new Barbarians in his fantasy range.
Some teasers right now.

Amazones

Female Barbarians

Male Barbarians

The last one is my personal favorite.
He will be "my" Conan.
Actually, I contacted David a few weeks ago if he could convert me a "Conan" looking like that and he said that he will maybe add him into his range.
And he did :D

Minis will be available at Cold Wars and after that from his online shop ;)

All good sculpts but the best of the bunch for me is the Barbarian with winged helmet. He is based on a picture I am sure.Amazon's knock the socks right off what Foundry are releasing too.

Some nice stuff there. Not all gold, but still some very paint-able pieces (especially the top two).

Does anyone stock these in the UK?

I like them. I think here's a nice balance between the clichee of a barbarian and a reasonable weaponsize/bulkinress of the body. Nice ones.

VERY NICE additions to a fine range of minis; I like the set-up-for slotted bases thing...not having to file off bases is a plus with moi. David has a way with the miniature Babes, & the Barbarians are cool...he's also a TERRIFIC person to deal with.

I'd completely missed that! Good move considering the hassle I had removing the integral bases from my sci-fi stuff. Helps cut down on materials and weight too (some of those integrals contained so much metal you could have almost got another mini out of them!).

Absolutely great - getting these for sure.

Does anyone stock these in the UK?

I've ordered direct and found the shipping very reasonable and fast, so may not be a problem.

Yet more lovely minis from bronze age, especially the Amazons. Pity they're US based.

Did you get stung by customs?

Unless it is a very small order I try to put all orders to the UK as being between $9.95 and $15.95 on the customs as long as it is in a global priority package or padded envelope to help with customs.  ;)

Nope (probably for the reason David states above!)
