LotHS Henchmen questions
« on: 13 March 2012, 11:20:52 PM »
Been having a read through the LotHS rules and got to a part Im not sure on.

Do Henchmen in the same group deploy and act indiviually in the game?
Does a Henchman group have to all be armed the same?
When working out thier experience, do you total the points earned by each model along the advances bar?

Thanks in advance

Okay,

Henchmen in the same group can be deployed anywhere, they do not have to stay in a group. They do not have to be armed the same way, it is just easier to keep track of them if they are, but you can arm them differently.

As for experience, each henchman contributes to the group.

Hope that helps, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask away, I haunt these forums from time to time.

Wow! A reply from the creater was the last thing I expected!
Thanks though Tim.

What is the different between the Experience and Group Experience sections on the Henchman roster sheet?
If a henchamn dies, does the group lose his exp?
When buying a new Henchmanand adding to an old group does he need the same exp to start with?

Not sure what you mean by the Experience and the group experience?? Can you explain?

If a Henchman dies and he is in a group, the experience does not go away, that is one reason to run them in a group. Now if the henchmen is in his own group by himself, than the experience is lost.

As too hiring new Henchmen, yes they do need to have the same experience as the group.

On the rOster sheet there is the exp bar and next to it is the group exp section.

Thanks for answering these noob questions by the way Tim.

I think he is asking if like Mordheim when a group takes a loss and you hire in another it changes the xp of the group. It seems that with LOTHS that aspect was ignored.

Okay I see what your talking about now, the Group Experience is just a spot to put your experience on the sheet from the experience bar too make record keeping a bit easier. Unfortunately this was not something I added, but WHH used the roster sheets from LotOW and Mordheim.

Hope that helps...

Thanks for that. Make sense now.
Another related question, when working out the Infamy rating for a Henchman group of 5, is it the exp bar x1 or the exp bar x5
