[40k] the imperial guard vs a cult Genestealer

Hi,
Last Friday, I played with Oll a new part of 40k, V2. The fight set the imperial guard vs a cult Genestealer in an urban district.




I have made a AAR on my site(in french) with photos.

The fights were relentless.

Nice battle you had there. The Leman Russ used was a converted toy tank?

Leman Russ? If you mean the light blue thing at the top right it's an old-style Predator.

Thanks for the reply, hehe. I saw that you used the Warzone figures for your IG but couldn't identify the Leman Russ. Where did you buy it?

And congratulations to both of you for gaming with a mix of figures from different lines and great scenario. If only I had all those ONI zombies

The tank was a spare unit. It is not deployed in the beginning of part.

Nice battle report! I always enjoy seeing people playing 2nd edition 40k, particularly when they're using things that don't exist in the modern game (Genestealer Cults!). I forwarded this on to my local mailing list of 2nd edition gamers, and they all really enjoyed it -- none of us read French, but we had fun trying to work out what was going on!

Did you Gate Genestealers? That was a popular move!

Those cult leaders are great. Are the first and the last old GW figures? Don't remember seeing them before, like all the others.

The base of the first one looks like an Ilyad base to me, guess it's one of their minis
