Miniature Cricketers?

Ive got a table cricket game stowed away somewhere. 'Howzat' IIRC. Doubt the figures are 28mil though. I realy want a couple of teams now.

Ok when I win the lottery, (after a bunch of fusilier marin circa 1900), I will commision some cricketing figs.

Here's a cricket figure I converted for my son a while ago using bits from several different GW plastic sets and green stuff, the right arm is all green stuff as I couldn't a plastic one into position to hold the bat.

How about using "Sanders" or "Gentleman Jim" from Froundry http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/our-ranges/darkest-africa/british/ as members waiting to play?

You also have "Fairplay" Fanshawe from the Explorers as a ready made figure in the Darkest Africa Explorers but I would want to convert "Dr. Livingstone", "Teddy Roosevelt" and "Furtwangler" to batters.  For some unknown reason - the idea of some of the ladies as batters and "Agnes Day" as umpire (with rules) strikes me as a neat idea (or maybe someone should just strike me)…

Maybe eBob would do some to balance out the PaintBall figures (fun game by the way)?

Other thought is to see if the trophy engravers have any the right size?
