Thanks Sonny. I think something has gone wrong with the post. I will double check tomorrow when it was sent.

The descriptions above, and the  detailed individual style of play and the small number of figures, reminds me of Donald Featherstone's Skirmish Wargaming, which I used for EVERYTHING in the 70's.

Yeah a bit like using an RPG rules set for skirmish wargaming, we to do that a lot.

Thank you Nick, we are really looing forward to seeing this rules :)

Does any of you how easy it would be to create some WWW2 stuff with these rules?

Was thinking about using the Inquisitor-rules back when I started my project, but maybe Normandy Firefight would be nicer.

So, anyone else that have recived this game yet, and perhaps would like to do some sort of review? I would love to hear more about it, and how it works, the level of detail and such.

I got them in spite of the fact that I have my own small skirmish set (flying lead) and the fact that for the level of detail it looked to have I already have Final Combat and BBG WWII.

But I am very glad I succumbed to the temptation. A very streamlined, easy to play set of rules which manages to give the feel of the level of detail of say. Final Combat but in way less than an hour.

D10/100 driven it looked as if it was going to be the same old endless look up on charts outlining percentage shifts. But one is faced with a streamlined mechanic for shooting (as an example) where one modified dice roll gives if you have hit, where you hit and how effective you hit. If the target has not suffered 100 percent damage a roll is made by target to see if they remain functional.

Will put up a full review later in the week after a few games.

Bought the rules two week ago and played 3 games already.

8 players at every games.  The best from my point of view.

Advise, use one mini per player or it will confuse them.

Initiative, you are given a number when you create your soldier, so every time it is called from the pot, it is your turn to play...it is sometime possible that you will be the last to play in the turn and the very first in the following...

Creating a soldier is quite easy, a few D10 and you have it...trait,  weapon and clips...

Next, it is simply a game of cat and mice!

If anyone ask for a full review, I'll do it.

Glad I found this post!
I read the scenario in WI but thought it was here.
Stupid tablet skipped this page.
I was on page 10 before I realized it.
Do a full review.
