Wow! Jaw-droppingly great and I'm not talking only about his scythe! :D

He will chop off many heads with that blade, poor agents...

Thanks, pocoloco!
He should frighten the poor, little Agents a little.
 ;)

What a fab mini! I like the look of the big, bad scary pumpkin man - even if I don't like what he represents!
*gulps* :o

Thanks, mate.
Told you he was a little intimidating.
 :D

Old Rot Patch never looked better...so to speak. VERY WELL DONE!

I'll be working on a Pumpkin Head Gang to replace the ones I sold off; SO it looks like I'll be buying another Rot Patch...FUN mini to paint.

Thanks, Al!
I didnt know that you sold the fellas....?
As I said, it was seeing your guys that convinced me that I needed some myself.
At least you get the pleasure of creating them again.

instead of Children of the Corn, it is Children of the Great Pumpkin! Paint up some cultists like Charlie Brown characters!

Now I have that damm song, "Peter Pumpkinhead..." in my head...

 lol lol lol
Love that idea, not very British, though.
Maybe you should do it...?
Thanks for that link, mate, there is some great stuff on there that I had not seen before.
If you do make an order from there, please give me a shout. There are a couple of things that I may ask you to get for me.
 ;) :D

Love the Hansel and Gretal idea, by the way!

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Never been a fan of Pumpkinheads for some reason Jack O' Lanterns always seemed slight too far fetched for me (which is crazy given my love for all thing Cthulhu...), anyway those look great.

Lets see if you still think that after they have introduced themselves to your M.O.S.(S) chaps.

I know they are a little far-fetched, but I liked the look of DeafNala's so much that I could not resist adding some to my collection.

Have you seen this sucker?

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/60029/latest/60029

He's Reaper's The Scarecrow, Flesh Golem. I picked one up as an alternate for Rot Patch. He's a BIG Guy...that's a 50mm base he's occupying. Cool as he is I still think I'll get another R.P...there's no substitute for an Evil Pumpkin.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

He's Reaper's The Scarecrow, Flesh Golem.

He is a mean looking fella, certainly.
I have too many unpainted models for Strange Aeons as it is, so I think I had better pass on that one, as tempting as it is.

Much appreciated.

Legionnaire Bert came over for a couple of games earlier.
It was good to catch up as I hadnt seen him for ages.

His team from the Thames Valley were looking to get back into action after a considerable break.

I will post up some pictures and a couple of reports over the next few days, but until then here is a better picture of his team, led by Aubrey Werther-Minte.

Bert certainly has a FINE LOOKING Group of Agents. To the right it looks like Bonny sans Clyde is keeping a wary eye on an Hasidic Rabbi. GREAT WORK, Bert!

 lol
I really should pay more attention to the posing of the miniatures.
It is not the first time poor old Father deBetta has found himself in this position.

We shall see, wont we....?

The table as it was set up last night:

A quiet village in the Thames Valley........

......a little too quiet, perhaps?

The team entered the small Church, only to find it deserted too.

Where was everybody?

This was starting to feel bad.

Very bad...

:o Very nice Mason, I especially love your use of plants and flowers on your buildings. I guess it has been asked before but... where do you buy them  :D or do you make them yourselves.

Za

Thanks, Za!
They are mostly from the miniNatur range, available from most good stockists....(tufts and flowers) whilst the climbing vine type efforts are 'underbrush'.
More details here, including the Chapel/Crypt before and after the 'flowering':

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30667.885

That thread has pretty much all of the WIP details of the buildings on this board (Chapel/Crypt, Undertakers, Warehouse/Barn and Graveyard, they are all in there somewhere...).

Beautiful set-up, looking mighty fine  :-*

Thank you, sir.

More of the actual first game later....
