Over the past few days I have posted photos of some NATO Spezial Forces on my blog (SeAL, DEVGRU, Delta / ACE, Airforce PJ, SAS KSK):

And a few pre-views:

Enjoy,

Really nice. Who makes the Delta Force (especially the SAW gunner) ?
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

THX guys!

@Eric: the Deltas are mainly DDD (you should rememb them ;)), the kneeling mini with the NVG is from TAGs SWAT range and the SAW is an Infinity miniature. But it is all in the article text as well. :)

Thanks Burkhard. I know recognise the DDD minis but the Saw Gunner is awesome.

Hei Burkhard,

are those DDD KSK minis still available somewhere?
Or do you know about some other nice minis reflecting them?

Nice work so far, good read on your blog too :)

Cheers
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

AFAIK they are not available anymore. There have been a couple of people on TMP selling bigger numbers recently, but never Germans.

Otherwise I would go for Eureka Germans. They are a great representation of the Bunderswehr about 5 years ago. Since the equipment of the KSK for non counter terrorism operations is not that different from the normal gear you could use those as well.

I am planning on taking some shots of my Panzergrenadierzug (which is is from Eureka) over the next couple of day anyway, if you want to take a look!

Cheers,

Burkhard

Hei Burkhard,

would be great to see them :)
I think making a "Skimaske" with Grennstuff should not be the biggest problem ;)

Definately not! Most of the DDD KSK on these photos are wearing greenstuff Balaclavas anyway!  ;)

Thank you guys!

To be honest... the Delta guys have special place in my heart, too. I was very sceptical about painting a unit all black, but ithe highlighting I really loved the looks!
