Could Paraguayan Infantry be used as Bolivians at a pinch

Having looked at Obscure Miniatures Paraguayans in 28mm, I was wondering if these could be painted up to look like Bolivians, I appreciate the collar is all wrong as are the cuffs and that the fact they are wearing a blouse rather than a tunic...some of these things can be painted in!

Well, yeah, but... What's the scale?  I assume 25+ mm.  How many figures do you need?  How comfortable are you with historicity versus labor necessary for the return?  How "picky" are you about the details?  What is your conversion skill level and will you be happy with that?  Are you willing to accept the views of someone people who are both knowledgeable  and anal?

Normaly I am one of those anal people, however without deep pockets, to do this in 28mm one will have to get the look rather than the accuracy, and as it is a seldom known subject the number of wargaming anals will not be too great ..

Unfort I am no wiz with a scalpel of green stuff so I rely on a good painter to interpret a look........

I will post some piucs of my first unit for this war when it is done to see what you think, is this a period you are interested in..?
