Here are a few British tars I painted. My first Naploeonics since, ooh, about 1979!
They're from Brigade Games, sculpted by Paul Hicks.
I've been painting quite a lot of Paul's work recently, and these are amongst my favourites.
Oozing with period character and detail, they immediately bring to life the worlds of Lucky Jack and Hornblower. Fabulous figures and a joy to paint. I'm looking forward to a lot more releases in this range. The new French sailors look great too  :)

And the pack configuration they come in...

Love them!  the pant in particular are amazing!  excellent work....reminds me of the many hours I spent devouring Patrick O'Brien books!

These were done a couple of months ago Colin, when I had a bit more time!
They've just finished in the final of Steve Dean's latest painting competition (they didn't win unfortunately), so I couldn't show them here until now ;)

Fantastic paintwork, it was a close run thing Richard but this time Ney's charge came off. lol

Usually spots and stripes beats all.  ;)
