These are utterly brilliant! I was just recently wondering at where to get some good Royal Navy figures, thanks for that! Your painting always inspires me! Thanks for the little tutorials there too. Flesh is what I struggle with the most, personally.

I must hide this page some how Kapitän, or we will have an incursion with the cursed 19th century miniatures and napoleonics in our gaming group, I can allready hear the screams for Hornblower skirmishes, endless video watching and forced naval gaming... ehum, now that I think about it, perhaps not so bad after all, and not that far away from good honest piraty work?

Honestly, I am really impressed, and no need to excuse your choise of colours, you can handle them so well, and its allways a true pleasure to enjoy your miniatures.

Blimey, missed this. Fantastic work there Capt B.  :-*

However, third figure from the right, second row: you missed a bit.  ;)

..... although i did try to vary the colours a bit by using Dark Prussian Blue and one or two other blues in the mix on a few of the figures, not that you can really see this subtlety in the pictures...

I think this are those little details that makes the picture, even if you can't tell in the first place.
Great job on great miniatures. I really like Paul Hicks works, his miniatures are so full of character. It's very hard to resist not buying all those beauties.

I love these figures.  What about 15mm scale Royal Navy Landing party?  Is there a manufacturer out there that makes them?

Fantastic figures and superb painting - one question, " do you ever go out ? " . What Rules do you use for Nap. skirmish ?
