I didn't know about the deluxe set but the normal sets are selling well here, every one seems to own at least one model and it makes a nice little filler if your game ends early or you are waiting for some one.

We had a 8 player game with my work mates before the Christmas. Two teams trying shoot each other down. System scales nicely with more players. You don't need to wait other players turn as stuff happens at the same time.

Had plenty of fun, especially when none had played it before (except me). Check the plane in upper left corner with his initial movement. Uups, I'm scared, going back home :)

Second series will be available soon, it seems. There'll be the Airco/De Havilland DH4, the Sopwith Snipe, the Roland CII and the Fokker D VII. Pictures are available here:

Coo. More shiny toys for me throw money at.

I hope one day they'll go back in time a bit. I'd dearly like to see pusher props vs. the Fokker Scourge.

Edit: I suppose pusher props would be too fragile to make into those kinds of models, what with their nacelle and tailplane construction with not much more than wire and tent-poles in between.

I saw a 1/144 plastic kit recently of an Airco DH2.  Can't remember where I saw it though.

Shouldn't be a great problem, as you can easily use those of the Wings of War Card-Games.

What is needed is card protectors as they soon get damaged (especially when someone spills coffee on the table    )

If someone would spill coffee on my games, I wouldn't care as there would be blood all over them soon after - and then the coffee wouldn't matter anymore ;)
