Frank, I like the way the sun is hitting the boat in the background, contrasting with the dark dense foreground. Great image, and great painting. I thought you were one of the painters that didn't paint eyes though- are you coming over to the 'dark side'? :)

Calimero's style is growing on me more each week, I'd love to see some in person!

a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Frank should give a tutorial on how he creates, lights and shoots one of these vignettes.

Nice color pallet on the girls Calimero. I may have to steal it when I break my dames out.

Thank you boys!

I can’t believe that Dr. Mathias noticed that I have tried to paint eyes!!! You are right!!!Sometimes the dark side is stronger than me :-) and I always try some new things during the LPL…that’s was one of them.

Well you did great, I think Copplestone's eyes can be quite challenging, they are usually asymmetrical and different sizes too! Kudos!

Really? I have been wondering for years how people like yourself do such a good job on 'Foundry Style' eyes.

Maybe gouge is too strong a word, scrape carefully with the tip of a scalpel was what I should have said  ;)
