Frank, I like the way the sun is hitting the boat in the background, contrasting with the dark dense foreground. Great image, and great painting. I thought you were one of the painters that didn't paint eyes though- are you coming over to the 'dark side'?

Calimero's style is growing on me more each week, I'd love to see some in person!

Well you did great, I think Copplestone's eyes can be quite challenging, they are usually asymmetrical and different sizes too! Kudos!

Maybe gouge is too strong a word, scrape carefully with the tip of a scalpel was what I should have said
