Damn you Frank! I have a set of WOTR figures made up and ready to paint as Lannisters - but you beat me to it!  >:(  lol
You have done them brilliantly though. So much character and detail - and Jamie Lannister in person. Great conversions. The banners are fabulous - very theatrical. Very dramatic.
And much more like how I Imagine the inhabitants of Westeros to look than in the TV series!
I suppose after 'Winter is coming' in LPL5, we should have expected 'Hear me roar' this time round  :)

For me, the crispness of the Prof's painting is marginally better. But in terms of squeezing a huge amount of story and atmosphere into one small picture - Frank, nobody does it better. Salutations.

I'm a gladiator man myself, but this was a difficult choice!

Great scenes both! I love the rich colours of Franks Lannisters and I am a real sucker for large and impressive banners, and to see those wonderful designs repeated on the shields and the trumpet is the icing on the cake. The gladiators are wondefully crisply painted and the whole scene is rather dramatic even with little blood showing. all the spectators really come in handy this time to add an audience, well done!
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Another brutal match up.

Frank's scene... all those banners...  o_o

I really like seeing gladiators in something other than a stone arena! The provinces on the outskirts of the empire need entertainment too :)

Nicely done both!

3 of the same! Glad I didn't have to face the good Prof. again! I've got enough of a challenge as it is, w/o facing the same minis w/ better paint! ::)
