Not sure of the price scale in your neck of the woods but they can't be as bad as Forge World and they are the real thing in 1/48 scale resin.  If you don't have any problems buying from the French. :mrgreen:

I don't know about how much use it is to game with but I think it's cool!

I think some of the other DKoK tanks look more Russian than this. Can't put my finger on it but it looks rather German to me.

You can always use the tank as an objective. Troops invade a repair yard where the tank is under repairs and they have to scuttle it before the defenders can get it running and crush everyone.

I also picked up some alternate Forge World turrets for some Leman Russ tanks and I intend to paint them up as US Tesla tanks for AE-WWII and have them fight it out with my "German" Baneblade.

Forge World released three new baneblade kits that look as if they would also make really good weird WWII tanks

Never going to buy anything from them, but I like their stuff. Especially the Death Corps of Krieg, because they are just so Great War.

I do all my buying on eBay - no way will I pay evil empire prices! Quite a few Krieg bits and bobs on there recently.

Hmm..... A lot of really good ideas there!

I think I might look at a 1:35 Josef Stalin 2 or 3 for the chassis. I'll see if ForgeWorld do separate components ( I still like the twin guns on that turret!)

Perhaps a different direction entirely might be considered......

I did a web-search on armored trains of WWII and had this thought, what if (for a WWWII setting) these rolling weapons were not trackbound ?

Could be that said armored platforms were freed of their rails by means of a super-science hover system, either contra-grav or ducted fan propulsion, this would put some seriously well toothed predators into formerly conventional land battles.

Could even be a British or French design it has a bit of that 'not as good as it looks' look about it.

With a bit of work it could be Russian, it probably needs to be a bit more rough around the edges.
