Where did you find that boat? I've been looking for something in that vein.

Nicely painted!

Thanks all  :D
I really enjoyed painting these.. went with a bit different style since they're toy bears. was quite a joy to paint.

The ship is a toy.  A 'Minimates Pirate Ship'.  -there are 3 different types of minimates ships from what i could tell, and the only difference is how they're painted, and since I was going to paint it over anyway, I went with the cheapest, which was the pirate version. the pirate style is black & red.  I wanted a ship that looked 'cute' but that I could also get away with using in more serious pirate type skirmish games, and thought this worked well for my needs.  plus, the price was right- I got it on Ebay, was just $14  ;D

Hi, great work....what is the scale of that pirate ship? How tall are those bears compared to halflings?

The bears are man-sized in 28mm- for a sense of scale, the round bases are 25mm bases.  The bears are about 1.3 inches tall, and about 1.5 inches tall for the soldiers because of their miters.

the ship works nice for 28mm, from stern to tip is 9 inches and from the bottom to the crows nest is 8 inches.

Cool....so it would make a decent sized halfling ship?

These are all great!

But I think Roe Bears should have longer beards. Or maybe that's Dread Pirate Roebeast? :D

Yeah I'd think it'd work great as a halfling ship- the only issue would be the ship's wheel: either would need a box for them to stand on, or remove it and attach it to a lower post, so they can reach it.

These are all great!

Thanks  :) well, they look more cuddly than beastly  ;)

L Ferret Dave,
Great work as usual.  Do we get to see them in person, or rather in ursine?
