Check your Six! Demo game AAR
« on: 07 May 2012, 10:30:02 AM »
Got to try out Check your Six this weekend. A game that was lots of fun and where I thought it had realistic enough rules without bogging down into overcomplicated micromanagement rules.

I really loved how you got a true "dog fighting" feel out of it by plotting your maneuvers and speed each turn and how stuff carried over from one turn to the next, you trying to anticipate the enemy fighter movement and how the pilot skill played a big role.

I wrote down a summary of the rules as I remembered them and a small AAR about a German bombing raid where BF109E planes were escorting and came under attack from Hurricane and Spitfire fighters.

Any idea where to get those extendable stands?  I'm trying to work out a way of fixing my ac onto extendable stands so that they can still be tilted to show banking/ climbing/ descending.

Great write up!

Many thanks for the review.

I have wanted to know more for a while now  :)
