Custom Made Encounter Cards
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:37:30 PM »
I am looking for a company that will make quality printed waxed style cards. but i want each of the cards to be different. i have been running many pulp style games, and think it would bring a quality elemnt to the it if i had actual pritned cards rather than sheets of paper printed and shoved into card sleves.
anyone have any ideas where i can get this done ?

Not sure what you mean by Encounter Cards, but in any case check out the following subforums on BGG:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/forum/974616/boardgamegeek/board-game-design

You'll find lots of links to card printing services and realted there.

With some photohop skills, you could also just design your own cards and cut them out :)

I've long had my eyes on this site, Superior POD. $9 for a custom designed 54 poker-sized card deck sounds good to me.

I run loads of Pulp games and generally require additional encounter specific for each game alongside some of my more stock encounters.

I've taken to printing on 120gsm paper and laminating the cards in 85mmx55mm pouches. This protects them from wear and keeps them nice and tidy at the same time.
