Barker Zosa replaces one of the vanilla Vanguard guys. Kind of a minor bummer I guess
Sorta yeah, 'cuz I already have a metal Barker Zosa. So there's another miniature I would have to get rid of somehow. Still, the Biohazard does looks fairly tempting at this stage, especially since they've loaded up on the few Strain models I almost can imagine a reason for owning.

In the game he has a couple weapons options, so you could use the metal as is and make sure you assemble the plastic one with the other weapon.   ;)

Speaking of plastic... they say what type will be used for the figs?

For anyone wondering, the plastic that will be used is the same as that used for Warmachine and Hordes models (lets hope the mould lines are better with these!), and is similar (if not the same) to the "Plastic Resin" that Mantic uses for some of their figures.
I have no idea if this will the same for the GitD or "Opticamo" models, although I suspect they will be in different plastic materials.

@ CptJake:

Yep, I was thinking of doing just that myself! ;)

I'm pretty sure I can do a swappable weapon on the metal model, actually. That's the plan anyway.

@ tnjrp:

You only get one weapon with each metal Barker Zosa... So to get both weapon options, you have to buy two copies - one of each.

The plastic version in the game set will be a single body with two weapons options (apparently).

Ah, you mean adding the plastic arm(s) to the metal model then?  In that case, sorry; I obviously misunderstood what you were suggesting earlier!   o_o

Hey TNjrp, do you think that magnets will work on the Barker Zosa mins arms?

With them continuing to add more individual characters, I'm starting to think that the extra money I pledged for the opti-camo and glow-in-the-dark figures might go towards them, and the tile pack instead.  As cool as the clear/gitd figures are, I'd rather have more characters.  I'm certainly not pledging more than I already have, as I'm up over $200 including my shipping, which is a pretty big investment for a game I've never played.

The minis to look great though!

Boom. The second Cthonian in every ($100)Biohazard set is now a done deal. Now it's about getting fake Vasquez to come with her mutated cyber horror version when bought asa $10 promo extra.

I can't recall if the metal BZ has a separate right arm or not ATM (I'm thinking "not" tho) but I'm going to try and magnetize the guns and the bracing arm anyhow. So the magnet in the arm would go to the top BZ's right hand. Admittedly it would probably be easier to magnetize at the shoulder if the arm is separate (this FYI commissarmoody), if you have two suitable right arms to go with.

Sgt. Ramirez (not-Vasquez) got her ugly version included with every purchase of her, and now they have new stretch goals and stuff.

New strech goal is for 6 "baby drones" (2 each of defense, attack and stealth) that the drone tank controls. In the game they are cardboard markers. If the $420,000 stretch goal is met they will be plastic miniatures that ship in March and they will be shipped to anyone who gets a Biohazard set. (We've got movement will get 12 of them, and keep firing will get 18 of them)

There is a new $10 Extra "promo" character:

Dr. Hexen sets up a new stretch goal of $430,000 to get her strained version free with every purchase of her.
