So I'm telling my wife how far this campaign has gone and what the next goodie is. She says to me "What, now everyone gets a pony?"

Isn't Studio McVey a going concern rather than a start-up?

Well, it happened. Kara in the Gnosis suit was earned for ever biohazard box, and Zombicide lost it's #2 spot.

REALLY! No kidding.

But, the new stretch goal is going after Steve Jackson's Ogre Designer Edition record and I don't think it's going to happen. I'd love to be proven wrong though. But it's asking a lot of five hours left and $838,298 on the scoreboard.

"Bulkhead doors, airlocks, and walls can slow the progress of a tactical breach. Trained to use Exo-armor in tight conditions, Barker's Aphid industrial power-frame is perfect in the cramped conditions of Alabaster station. Customized with armor plating, industrial breaching tools and a close range kinesis shredder, Barker uses this suit to get to them before they can get to you. "

EDIT: I misspelled edition as 'adition' and ever helpful auto-correct turned it into addition. I saw it and I fixed it. and probably messed something else up.

It's the project that's the start up with CMON Phil rather than the company.

Just added a THI Suit in a moment of panic. Nothing so effective as the last minute grab.

Well that was an interesting weeks holiday in Bulgaria. Had to keep popping into the hotel lobby to check the email updates on my iPhone :)

Now in for $295.... I don't think it's going to hit the last stretch unfortunately but I've thrown in the $25 (plus a bit) for the Barker figure anyway, so if it does get hit I'll just use it to buy the extra THI suit  and drones that I'd quite like.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Like my momma said, "keep hitting that refresh button and eventually you'll go blind!"

I think there are 3,849 people constantly refreshing the page.

Something I didn't notice before is that the average pledge ammount is $220 but 80% of them are at the biohazard level.  People must really like the extra figures.  I'm only in currently for the biohazard, terrain and Ripley.

For those of you going after all the extra figures, is it the collector mentality, potential use in other games or potential ebay value that has you hooked?

I'm mainly going to get them and just see what I think when they turn up in March. Mostly I just want new Strains though Ramirez actually makes a pretty good trooper.  I may trade the not-Firefly set for Barker and Aphid when I actually get my survey. Or I might just dump them into another THI suit. Or I might not.

Partly it's the 'Ooh, shiny!' rule. That said, they are all things I would consider anyway, with the possible exception of Niven Banks. $10 for two figures is a perfectly reasonable price point for something I would never buy multiples of, particularly when you consider they won't be available after the Kickstarter project (beyond a limited number appearing at probably US only conventions or on eBay). I got Banks as well mostly for the completion aspect but also because he's a proper part of the game. He might not be a core part but he is a part of the game so I figured I'd get him, the figure is pretty good and will get used in the board game and possibly in other games as well. The basic troops will see lots of use in other theatres as well as in this game. The Firefly/Calamity crew are mostly just for me though. I don't have a use for them currently outside of Sedition Wars and don't really 'feel' their inclusion within it, however they will be nice sculpts of a subject I love so I want them.

It's not that I NEED any more figures, but part of the excitement is certainly watching that Kickstarter swell and each of the goals get chopped down.  Then I think, 'Hey, I should do more to help out", the next thing you know, I'm in hot water with the Mrs.

I'm in for Biohazard, plus $70 for extras. It's a screaming deal. Don't think it'll make the last stretch goal however, but it would be nice to be wrong.

Even my wife has been following this campaign. The coin being dropped on the game is pretty amazing.
