I really enjoyed that game at GLAM too.  And thanks of Khalifa Blood we even won  lol
What I really like about the rules is the way how shock points work and that musicians and color bearers are more than just nice models on the board, they can be pretty helpful at the right time.

@Furt: Yes, units can move without a leader. For a leader in the unit you get a bonus in shooting and close combat. The import thing is, you need a leader to get the special characteristics like “Formed” and “Fighter”. If your leader is killed, the unit will lose this characteristic.

@Dr. The Viking: Yes, I changed the shooting effect and I changed the phases of the turn. There is no special movement and shooting phase anymore. Instead there are two Action phases. With this chance it is now possible to shoot and attack or to react to the movement / action of the enemy.

Absolutely wonderful  :-* Truly inspirational.

Did you make the buildings and boats or are they commercially available?

The boats are conversions and I made a short tutorial on this: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=34615.0

The buildings are actually 1/72 in size. The smaller ones are scratch build, most of the bigger ones are from this guy: http://www.lasermodellbau.de/index.php?lang=en

Superb work, sir!  :-* The figures, the models, the lighting, the hats!  :o

I've been working on variations to SP myself for Darkest Africa. I'm heading over to your PDF right now to compare notes.  :)

Very very nice.

Initially I thought Two Hour Wargames rules (!  :-* ) by the subject name but I guess there is nothing original under the sun.

Reflects the labor of love in the project nicely.

Tip of the hat to you guys!

Me too.

An absolute joy to behold, I can only aspire to one day have something on my table which looks as good.
