TARUTINO 1812 BP REFIGHT
« on: 08 June 2012, 04:04:00 PM »
Our latest big game was a 28mm game based very roughly on the Battle of Tarutino, 16 October, 1812 played using Black Powder Rules. The game was fought on a 12ft by 6ft table. I provided the scenario and the figures. There were 5 players and I umpired. Hugh Wilson, and Donald Adamson were the French players. Dave Paterson, Mark Taylor and Scott Duncan were the Russian players.
Lots of moves but relatively low losses 5 French units to 4 Russian ones.

I have included a full report of how the game played on my blog and I have added a Tarutino 1812 page which gives more complete information on the game set-up, terrain map, rules used, the player briefings and order of battle.

Looks lovely, have you shared with the good people over at Warlord? I'm sure they'd love to see it.

Andy

More really useful boxes hiding under the tricolour but sadly womens clothes racks on this side of the table.

Thanks for arranging the fun today.  Your dice rolling in the AWI game was really terrible - 2 blunders in the first 2 moves!  The AQUANAUTS looked great...will post some photos on my blog and here....

No thank you sir! Your game was spiffing!

Perhaps I'll see you at Claymore? If I'm not working. If not MacLAM  2013
