Infinity

I am fairly sure this is where I should ask about this but if not, please let me know!

I have not played Infinity since the first edition and even then I didn't really get a lot of time in with the system. I do own quite a few of the miniatures though and I'm thinking about looking into the game again. I know it's on a new edition, though I'm honestly not sure which one.

Is there anyone around who has experience with the current edition? How is it compared to the first edition? None of the stores in my area are carrying it so I don't really have easy access to a book to flip through and I wanted to get feedback somewhere other than their official forum.

You can down load the rules for free on the 'infinity the game' web site. It's currently on second edition, which is very similar to first. There should be a new campaign book out over the next couple of months.

I read the rules and made few lists, but never came to actually buying anything. I would play merovigians - ariadna subfaction anyways, so I am better off with force on force, haha.

However, I am pretty sure ruleset is free to download on their web page. There is also an expansion pack.

I can't help you with comparisson with first edition, but in last few months comunity here has grown for some 100%+

Didn't even realize you could get the the rules for free. Thanks a lot for the heads up!
