WIP - Pigs!
« on: 27 June 2012, 01:18:58 PM »
Hi all,

Some time ago last year, a friend of mine purchased some of the LAM Pigs for her mum who is a massive pig fanatic (apparently). I offered to paint them for her and have been working on it intermittently... anyway, here is where i'm at with it so far. I want to finish it off but I'm not sure how!

Some ideas are:

Some food in the trough
Clumps of grass in the muddy bit

What do you think? Here are some pics...

Thanks!

Water in the trough?  ;)

Water in the trough would be cool. You definitely need something in there.

Love these piggies! Great bucolic scene. You could maybe churn up the mud around them a bit, put in some trotter tracks - looks a bit regular for pig work at the moment.

OK, so what paints/colours used. I have a number of porky fellas awaiting some paint for use in Dark Ages games and am a bit stumped for paint schemes.  ???

oink!

They look great - well done sir.

I agree that water in the trough would be neat, and also with your suggestion that a small clump or two of grass at the back muddy part would work well.

Haha! Those look very good. I love how you did the mud and the flowers. The facial expressions of the pigs look great!

The pigs look great. The red around their noses really adds a lot of character.

A few more clumps of grass in the muddy bit would look nice.
Some food or water in the trough is a good idea as well.  :D
