I've been working on it recently bud. I didn't think it looked too different from the last pics so I've not added an update yet...

I need to change the body where it joins the arm. It needs to be bulked out a little to make it a seamless join.

I'm nearing the end of this, but I'm not quite happy how certain parts are working out!!

It's the doors, I'm not sure wither they should be smaller or a different design or something....

Should the door fit inside the opening in the chest? Should I redo it different somehow? Any help would be appreciated!!

Not much in the way of advice I'm afraid mate but it does need to be a lot slimmer, I think a re-sculpt could be in order.

How about just using fuse wire for the door?

Perhaps solid wicker at the bottom, wire cage at top. If on the outside, needs to look really strongly attached. Not really a volunteer resident, mind you.

Can't you make a version with a sort of platform with rails and some levers so you could put a mahmoud there controlling an alive version of the wicker monster?!?!?

You could inset it and maybe make the bars thinner - largely from wire with a bit of gs?

Don't worry it's in the pipeline. I was thinking of a balcony with some sort of control panel with wooden/crystal joysticks at the front!

Right, my solution to my wee problem. Would wooden bars look good enough? I've made the shape of them out of plastic rod, slightly bent at point to make them look irregular....

...then cover it with thin Green Stuff to make the bars look like wood(still WIP)...

I've being trying to do wee bits of this through my lunch breaks when I get a chance. The doors ain't really worth showing, but I've started a mask for the basic wicker head to bring it more in line with the traditional 'Green Man'...

This is the pic I'm basing it on....

The white plastic card will be totally covered in GS!
