Dux Britanniarum Publication Date Announced

Hi all,

I've been a bit quiet lately and not posted any Dux Britanniarum game reports.  The reason is that we have been up to our eyeballs getting to rules ready for publication.  Well, I am now very happy to announce that the rules will be published on the 30th of July. 

We are just sorting out details of pricing and so on, the main rule book in hard copy which contains the whole campaign system and the tabletop rules will be around 86 pages with a really nice seperate A3 map of Britain in around 450, the starting point of the rules.  That will retail for just £20.  We are also producing a really nice 64 card deck which incorporates both the decks you'll need to play the game, the Game Deck and the Fate Deck, and we'll be doing the rules in interactive tablet format as well as plain PDF.  I need to get all the pricing sorted out there but you can rest assured we'll be doing some great value bundles and some even better deals for advanced orders.  More on that soon.

GREAT news!!!!! The Arthurian Age is my favourite period by a mile and I have been following the various blog posts, etc, regarding these rules  with very considerable interest! I will be placing an order as soon as I am able to do so...

After listening to the latest Meeples & Miniatures podcast I would claim these rules for the Ancients subforum.
Looking really forward to its arrival, please keep us up to date.

What a shame that the Ancients board ends with the 'Fall' of the Roman Empire, which puts these firmly into the Medieval era. 

Not that it really matters either way.
