We'll be there on Sunday as well. Down from 4 to 3 as one has to go to his son's rugby match instead.

Brilliant Show.

Yep - was good apart from the thieving baskets (again) - Antenociti's had £150's worth of airbrush stolen, last year it was DaveT, iirc, that had stuff pinched. Puts a dampner on an otherwise great weekend :|

That may explain lack of pics on the web then, have not been for a few years now, it has never been one of my favourite shows. Much prefer Warfare in Nov.

I thought there were some interesting games.  OK alot were just a cloth with some scenery on.  Nothing more than a normal game but there was some imaginary games the retreat form Moscow?  The Zombie battle and the WW1 Belguim game.
What would one like to see in a good display game?
Subject, Figures, scenery or the wow factor?

Not being critical just keen to see what is wanted?

I am with James on this one, for me a very uninspiring selection of games. I remember from last year the massive Isandlwana game and the Busaco Napoleonic game. They stuck in my mind. This year I doubt I will remember many of them.

I don't want to see a normal looking game with a cloth and some road sections placed on top, I want the wow factor, I want to be inspired. The reatreat from Moscow was a good looking game. The zombie game you mention was for me just far too cluttered, ( thats a very personal view) and I don't even recall the WW1 game, where was it?

I agree with you on the zombie game, far too busy to take any of it in.
I didn't see anything that I bothered to photograph there, too od and jaded I guess :)
