new 40mm Alamo Range 1836 for Gringo40s
« on: 10 July 2012, 10:56:24 AM »
Gents

im pleased to announce a new range of 40mm Alamo figures to compliment my Mexican-American War range .......the initial offering
is a vignette of Bowie and his last stand.........comprising Bowie
despatching a Soldado, with another Soldado about to despatch him
with a bayonet. the Set includes a barrel with Bowie knife and a packing
case with a lantern on top.........see www.gringo40s.com
under "Alamo"........many of the new mexicans with bell topped shakos
will have separate heads so can be used for the later 1846-48 period
regards Ged www.gringo40s.com :)..ps set is for sale now........ ;)

Great stuff, having seen the Bowie vignette in the flesh, I can say it will be well worth the wait. Outstanding stuff. ;D
Shame its in the wrong scale lol ;)

I love it, I love it.
The David Bowie fig is brilliant.
What period is he ?
Why is he in the bed?

Can you play with it or is it for showing off on display?

cecil

the figure along with the other Mexican Soldiers represents

Colonel Bowie,s last moments at the Alamo.........the man

was dying anyway from tubercolosis......its captured my

imagination. the Set can be used as a vignette or individual

wargame figures....
