The Alamo in 40mm /Gringo40s

Chaps

over eleven months ago at Salute i put on a game with
using my 40mm Alamo/Mexican American figures to do
the initail assault on the Alamo using 800 40mm figures
these are some of the shots courtesy of Wargames Illustrated
as yet not seen. will add more as i find them

Beautiful - I have fond memories of the Alamo game put on by Greg Blake at Cancon.

But, the defenders outside the walls? Crazy.

Gringo,

   I am thinking of doing San Jacinto in 40mm. Wasn't there a difference between the uniforms the Mexican Army wore in during the Texas Revolution versus what they wore during the Mexican American war? Are you going to do more Texians?

ACW gamer the main difference is the shako...cylindrical in 1846-48
Napoleonic bell shape 1810 style in 1836..........
focusing on 28mm at the moment...but never say never ;) :D
