New WW2 releases! M3A3, M31ARV, VW Bug...
« on: 11 July 2012, 06:05:23 AM »
Available this weekend!  The first of an overwhelming new set of WW2 releases...

Let me count... VW type 1, M3A3, M3A3 recce, M3 Lee ARV, Chevy Ambulance, Semovente 90/53, L6 ammo tank for the semovente, Whirbelwind...  Sigh..

First, we have the VW Type 1.  Yeah yeah, racing decals including number "53" will also be out later this month.

M3A3 will be available at Historicon.  Kit includes both tops for the Recce or the standard turreted version.  The full interior is cast in, including the driver levers. Should be fun to paint!

This is all cast in detail.  Nothing else added.

Open hatches!

Also new is the M31 ARV.  A completely new kit created from our M3 Lee/Grant model. This will be available at Historicon 2012.

More to come as soon as I get the Italian tanks painted up!

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Yep, the recce has the turretless hull top with a rail/ring for mounting a .30cal and a .50 cal.  Should have better pictures this weekend.

So the same kit makes either model.

Your welcome. By the way, the Italian vehicles were designed by Michael Broadbent in the main. Certain parts and the body of the ammo carrier were from Company B.

Cheers,

I won't be at historicon, but the other two members will be there.  I'm trying to get the semovente's ready for release.

Well, if you get a Semovente, you need it's Ammo tank :D  We'll probably also have a combo deal, since you can't have one without the other in reality.

I'm not sure if the Semovente's will make it to the con in time.  But they will probably be available on the website around the same time.  There are some minor issues such as some large resin sprues/support on the gun shield, which requires a dremel or similar tool. We felt needed to be removed before we sell these.  So we need to remove the sprues carefully from all the kits, then double protect them.
