Don's Collection
« on: 24 July 2012, 03:01:29 PM »
As the weather was sunny today (after weeks of rain) I took the oportunity to shoot some pics of my historical collection. Its a wild mixture of all wars and conflicts, from the Egyptians to the ECW and the shores of Crete.
Perhaps I should have concentrated a little more... lol
Painted since 2008, when I started with historical wargaming.

Didn't know in wich board to post, but its mainly battallions...

The bord is 240cmx120cm. Didn't count the miniatures... lol

Cheers,
DV

Lovely collection, but what did you do for the rest of the week? ;D

All that since 2008 - I've probably been at this twice as long and not done even half as much!

A stunning achievement.

Very enticing and inspiring. It reminds me of a shop that i visited with my parents during the late '60's and early '70's. It had a huge collection of Elastolin in glass show cases. When i was there mind always drifted away to far off lands and magnificent adventures and actually i have not stopped since. For a time during those years we went there on a regular basis and i could buy some of the smaller scale line mostly trappers and indians and medieval stuff. I still have them but they sit idle in a box since time immemorial.
