SAGA in the Peloponisian War
« on: August 08, 2012, 11:35:32 AM »
Started this as a little side project for an upcomming convention.
I try to build a hoplite-impetus-army a few years back but failed... :?
Last week I had this idea of just rebasing all the miniatures and play SAGA with it. I allways wanted to play Scots but didn't like the minitures. So I will use the greek miniatures and play them as Athens/Scots and Sparta/Jomsvikings... :D

Here are somepics of the miniatures so far. Need a highlight over the dip and the setting needs more scenery...

The spartans. 2x hearthguard and 2x warrior.
Distinction between the factions is by colour of the tunica (Sparta red, Athens white).

Athens 3x Warrior one Levys.

Cheers,
DV

Which board do you use?

like he said he used the Scottish board for the Athenians and the Jomsviking board for the Spartans.

Looks amazing, but Athens as the Scots? Wouldn't the Saxon's shield wall or even the Anglo-Danes make more sense?
