How to piant a Tortoise?
« on: August 08, 2012, 07:14:38 PM »
Ok 1st up.. not a real one as that would be cruel, and normal house piant works fine. :D....but I have a number of not only cheap Gaint Tortoises but also the not so cheap "Scheich" versions to piant up as mounts for my "Hinterland" Ladies and there is the problem.
I've undercoated them black (perhaps a mistake with the "Schelch" ones as perhaps a simple wash of ink and perhaps drybrushing would of been for th best) and have no idea as to how to carry on with them, in terms of the colour of the shell and the underside body any ideas as to colour and technique?
thanks
Darren
