Work like this inspires and terrifies at the same time! I've since checked out Papa Midnight's other works and Thunderchicken's and Skrapwelder's amongst others and they are incredibly impressive. For the signs there are some good, free, Victorian fonts on www.fontspace.com. Just search for 'Victorian' and there are plenty to download.

Thank you. Glad you like them.
The black shop signs were just printed on card. I used photoshop to create a black rectangle and just typed in them using a white font. Uses a lot of black ink though!
You can do the same with MS Word etc by creating a small text box, use black as the "fill" colour and use a white font.

Just a few pics of some of my completed buildings. I still haven't got a decent "Base Board" but I'm working on a foam base with scribed cobblestones............
