napoleonic camp regulations
« on: 14 August 2012, 04:26:15 PM »
Does anyone know what regulations (if any) the armies used in the Napoleonic era when setting up camps?, things like tent formations, distances apart, positions of fires etc etc.

Doing dutch and Belgians in the Waterloo period, so I dunno who's they would use, but British regulations of the period will do, I am strongly assuming something like this did exist.

Look for Dundas, he wrote the drill manual for the British Army and there are online versions of his work.
