"Mean Sets," the 28mm range of card stock self assembly, building interiors for Pulp Fiction and other Role Playing Games, has just received a major infusion of new Sets.

These are "The Secret Room," "The Opium Den," and especially "El Barraka," the Middle Eastern Café/Bar.

Each new Set has many furniture/machine/and accessory items included, all visible in the photos of each.

These additions bring the total number of "Mean Sets" (including #6, "Miscellaneous Furniture & Accessories") to 18, and there are many more to come, including several much larger and ambitious items.

As part of the recent activity in this line, the previously released combination Set #15, "The Drug Store/Barbershop," has been extensively redesigned, including the addition of a front sidewalk to match the exterior front wall. Also, newly designed shelving, particularly for the Drug Store, now filled with various appropriate products, make the place much more striking—and even useful if your Pulp Fiction characters need to buy something "special!"

Similarly, the Barbershop now sports a large Shaving Mug shelf, a new counter, equipment shelves, and other graphic improvements, as you may see in the photos.

Further, Sets #10 and #11, "The Night Club" and "The Casino" have both been similarly redesigned to Art Deco splendor (if not "excess"), though new models for new photographs are still in the offing. Still, they are quite ready for sale!

Each "Mean Set," irrespective of the number of card stock sheets required to print in full, is still available as a PDF for $10.00. Cool stuff!

A cool selection, and would fit perfectly in any urban pulp setting. I've known these for years and it's nice that the still get updated and expanded. Even if one doesn't like the sets themselves, it's still a great source of inspiration.
