Equipment on Defiance Games Marines

So I am surprisingly pleased with the way the Defiance Games Marines look with a decent paint job.  One thing about them seems off though, they've got no kit.  No canteens, ammo pouches, nothing.  I was thinking about getting some GW Cadian bits.  What do you all think?

Don't forget that TAG offers a whole lot of pouches and canteens also.

I'm pretty sure they come with ammo pouches.

They DO come with pouches (little ones compared to the comically oversized GW stuff).

        Thanks for the tips.  I'm not sure what the DG "pouches" are supposed to represent, but I certainly can't see them holding spare magazines.

I remember a posting where you wanted to sell them as you were not satisfied with the way they 'looked'. What happened?

Indeed, good memory.  I decided to paint them and see how they looked, and liked the result.  Now, I can either sell them as painted figures, or hang on to them.

Nick, thanks for your answer. As i have this idea about a-sci-fi-or-PA-ish-men-vs-alien-kind-of-a-project, it's always good to read about people who have a hands-on experience with certain miniatures or games. Defiance looked promising but i have not decided yet. Not in the least due to some financiel problems, i am without a paid job at the moment.
Your knowledgeable input is therefore much appreciated. Cheers.
