They were used in the early stages of WW1 and in Russia.
plus they were used in the middle east which i have seen pictures.
plus they can be used for RCW
India as well in the 1920's

I'm not. I refuse to buy these  until such time as they correct their punctuation.  :)

They saw widespread but limited use. For obvious reasons, the Western Front didn't provide optimal conditions for the use of motorcycles, save for behind the lines use by despatch riders. There was some use of the MG armed versions by the Motor Machine Gun Corps but usually in a dismounted role. The best reference I can think of is David Fletcher's War Cars which has a chapter devoted to motorcycles and some good photographs.

I think there's a slight issue with the size of these, given how you should be shorter when mounted than standing.

Damn tricky to build motorcycles to scale.  Endless debate whether 1/48th or 1/56th scale is better for 28mm wargames (a tank is big, right? but how big?) however, most everyone has some idea how big a motorcycle is relative to human size.  I agree with 6milphil - these look pretty big.
