Working on a fantasy pirate gang - Finished !

Painting a Goblin Pirate gang to play with Alkemy. As a start, the Black Troll from Rackham. This is a lovely miniature to paint, full of funny details, like a cyclopic eye, rhum bottles, a fish tail, mushrooms, etc.   I gave him a copper armor to avoid a too greyish overall appearance, especially on the rear.

Have you seen Karsten's (Vikotnik's) goblin pirates. I can't seem to find the thread right now, but he's used the Rackham pirates and they're beautifully done - they might be an inspiration.

The armor looks great! And all the lovely littel details, and the anchor as a weapon, very fitting. I'm not sure about the angle of the arm however, it looks a bit unnatural for a humanoid creature

Have you seen Karsten's (Vikotnik's) goblin pirates. I can't seem to find the thread right now, but he's used the Rackham pirates and they're beautifully done - they might be an inspiration.

I've seen his thread and his models are a great inspiration. I have the Rackham gobo pirates too and I'll probably go the same way  Love the ship he has done.

Are you talking about his right arm? He has a dismembered arm in his right hand. In this case,the angle of the photo can be a little confusing here.

Haha you are right, I hadn't even noticed the severed arm in his hand, it makes more sense now... however,  his REAL arms are still in a pose that looks pretty taxing on his shoulder muscles

As most of you all proposed, I'll go for the complete Rackham goblin pirates range. Maybe I'll add some humas pirates to it from the Ron 'n Bones range, think they fit well.
