Manchurian Bandit Gang - Finished
« on: 26 April 2014, 03:53:43 AM »
I am running a game at Little Wars Melbourne, based on the film The Good The Bad and The Weird. My co-organiser  has a nice collection of Copplestone chinese bandits and soldiers, and my only contribution (apart from a train) was 3 Tsuba miniatures Manchurian Bandits. So I thought I'd collect my own bandit force for the occasion (as there were two gangs of bandits in the film) based on these guys

I wanted to have mounted and on foot miniatures for each member of my gang (except for those riding in the truck). The models are Copplestone bandits, a 1st Corp bike and sidecar, and a Matchbox "beers of the world" Mack truck.
With a few head swaps and greenstuffing for the leaders, here is my gang pre painting.

and on foot

That is really nice work. I've got the film but I haven't watched it yet.

Brilliant! I've been toying with the same idea since I saw the 1st Corps motorbike.

Eventual additions could be Fistful of Kung-Fu cultists or West Wind empire of the dead Tong gangers.

::) um, the last two are kind of made up..... I copied characters off the Tsingtao truck, but my brushwork slipped, so i just made them look characterish. The bandits did it to avoid the police checking up on them  :D
