There are more in the final stages as I painted a buch of them more or less at the same time to speed things up, so during the comming weeks there will be more  :)

They're good. Do you have any references of these unbelievers? I'm quite curious.

Thanks for the link. I remember reading the Lithuanians used lots of javelins and ambush tactics, but i don't know much else. I'm guessing there's some guesswork when working with these guys, rather like early Saxons in England in a way.

Thanks !!!

About the cross... as he and he´s fellow warriors are true heathen they ofcourse dosent read, write or understand what the cross means, and when he killd one of the crusader knights the other day he found a golden cross, and even back then the heathens liked some "bling, bling" ;)

Would have been worse if you found a thors hammer amongst my crusaders...

Best regards Michael

I was just teasing you a bit Michael ;) It is known that Christian symbols were used by the heathen/pagans as well, as just another set of symbols that could convey more divine protection. Also the so called wolf's cross is a good example of combining both Christian and pagan symbols. So your miniature is quite accurate in historical sense.

Cheers,

Antti
