The whole two-fisting it thing is just out of hand... Not just in this case, but in general.

You are going to go into a zombie apocalypse, with limited ammo, and just pray and spray?

Come on!

I'd go for style rather than 'realism' with a game (we're talking about a fictional apocalypse, right?). After all, we're just being geeks emulating our favorite movies and games.

Meh, I'm not too big on the style either... It's been overdone to death I think.

That said, try shooting a 9mm (handgun or uzi) randomly from the hip with one hand and hitting anything...

It's ok for a John Woo movie I guess, but it's just not my cup of tea.

Had the chance to fire a micro UZI once, two handed and still managed to miss the target 15 meters away.
The owner told me, the first time he fired it, he held it like in one hand like a pistol as it seemed appropriate for such a small weapon. Needless to say it ended pointing a whole other way than to the target.  lol

Great paint jobs! The 'sheldon' figure is really great.
I too wish I had backed this one to get all the extra goodies.

Great painting.
I got mine undercoated the other day, and I was amazed at all the detail and the fine quality of the sculpts that had become visible.
Bendy plastic is still a complete pain in the arse for clean up, but I am now a lot happier with my purchase :D

Where does one get the clear bases?  Great idea!

Fantastic paint jobs.

Seeing a lot of reviews of the figures but is anyone playing the game yet?

2 games already. first a 4-player game, the second with 3 players.
It's fun, but certainly no walkover.
4 players is least interesting as you only get 4 survivors whereas you get 6 survivors in a 3- or 6-player.
Very weird is the turn order and the ranged combat. Unlike e.g. Decent you play in turn, so you might want to move survivor A before survivor B fires in the zone, but if B is the first player that can't happen...
Also there's the constant thread of a double turn for specific zombies when drawing zombie points. This is what finished most survivors off in both games.
Ofcourse, this is with the scenarios provided. You can create your own scenarios and opt to go easier on the survivors.
