The British
« on: September 17, 2012, 04:19:41 PM »
Wasn't sure where to post this as it probably covers most of the sections.
I have been watching the brilliant The British on Sky Atlantic and was thinking about a collection of mainly military miniatures through the ages. I was thinking about one from each era Saxon,Medieval,ECW, etc just wanted to ask what people thought of the idea or if anyone as done it before, and what wars/figures they would go for. It doesn't have been a complete collection of every war but just a general collection of the British through time. Also thought it would give me an excuse to collect figures from ranges that I probably wouldn't game.

That's a nice idea and a good excuse to get miniatures from a variety of ranges.  ;D

One project that springs to mind are Mad Doc Morris' >Roman Centurions<, although a different subject obviously.

Very inspiring!

Seems like an interesting idea.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
