Nice work on the Evil Lurker, Mo!
It is coming along nicely.

Good to see that you are spending time with the kids AND getting them into painting at an early age.

Is this a cunning plan to eventually get the youngsters to do your painting for you?
 ;)

They look great, Mo!!

Those Celtos minis should make you a great themed Lurker force.
Nice bases, those emerging zombies look the business!

Nicely done fella. That's a good imagination you have. The base can always bring a mini to life. It's always worth the extra effort.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

I'm sitting my kids down tomorrow and were gonna do some painting. Good work.

Because you all such a nice bunch of lurkers (and because posting fantasy stuff feels a bit like cheating ???)

My creepy crawlers (reaper bones thingy is really awesome and well worth the money!!! and some old GW necromunda crawlers):

OOOH COOL STUFF, Mo!! Since starting down the Road to Madness via The Spooky Woods Project, I've developed a real love for Thingies of a Creepy Nature...VERY nice minis & EXCELLENT bases.

WoW - your models are so well constructed an creepy!
I love your scenes of Horror - whose plastic Zombies are those you have chopped up.

Great use of those Celtos figs too - they fit in perfectly.  Looks like Threshold has disturbed a bunch of cursed Templar Knights who read the wrong book in King Solomon's temple (now that gives me an idea...)

Extra points for Gamer Dads who paint with their kids and sacrifice a few models to the greater good!
Trust me - you will be rewarded in time, and in the manitme they can do your basecoating for you  :D

Of course my evil plan to steal some time to paint myself backfired as I spend all afternoon mixing paint and cleaning the kitchen, but still... quality time is quality time...

Same here. Great fun though. Some of my fave minis are those the children have painted over the years.

Thanks, the zombies are Mantic I bought in bitz on ebay... I dont care for the complete models but the torsos and heads are ace!

Painting with the spawn is great fun the finish a model in about 5 minutes and then they want the next... takes about 3 hours to clean the kitchen afterwards but what the heck...  ;D
