For the ceilings: Light fixtures, fans, fire alarms.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this project. Great work!

Thanks, people :)

Thorbjørn, I'll get you for this ;)

For the ceilings: Light fixtures, fans, fire alarms.
Thanks for the suggestions. I've made a neon tube and another type of lamp of which the translation eludes me (what are these called in english?). Fire alarms don't seem to fit the surroundings. From what I've read, people who were careless with fire were sorted out by their neighbours, which is at least some sort of prevention :)

Oppah Hak Nam Style!!!
Yeah, thanks for that. I had that song playing in my head for days, with the refrain replaced by your line o_o

Anyway, more progress. As I've promised to have something presentable for Tactica in three weeks, time is pressing...

Overall construction of the first three buildings is almost complete; the left building is missing the interior, but that will have to wait until after Tactica. Two more buildings at the back will be added after Tactica as well, to allow players to move around all the edges. The middle building is an empty shell and will house the necessary electrics for lighting.

Overall view of the interior of the right building. Tho topmost floor still needs detailing, but otherwise it is almost ready for painting.

It looks like you have your work cut out getting it ready in time, though... :o

What are you planning for the rooftops?

What are you planning for the rooftops?

TV antennas, junk, TV antennas, and ... more TV antennas  :D Although I might take a few anachronistic creative liberties and add a few mobile phone towers and satellite dishes as well. I also like the idea of a pigeon loft, and I've even seen pictures of people reclining in deck chairs on the roofs. Endless possibilities  8)

Cool. How does one get to the upper levels. Is it through the adjacent building. I don't see any stairs for the top 2 floors.
Looking amazing. Can't wait to see how the roof turns out.
