GZG Power Armor 15mm
« on: 29 September 2012, 05:20:49 PM »
A squad of GZG Power Armor (15 mm), with a simple paint scheme. I was considering adding some sort of camo pattern to the knees and shoulders, but decided against it - I think it would make them look cluttered. I'm OK with the results (even though the drybrushing on knees/shoulders doesn't show that much).

Well done ! Simple but effective.
Could be the photos don't show, but might I suggest a highlight on the visors/lenses ?

Quite right. I painted my PA-troops with a tiger stripes-ish pattern (the whole fig) and I'm not convinced I did the right thing there.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Thanks! I did try a little highlighting, but it doesn't show too much. I'll try to touch it up tonight.

15mm camo is difficult to do well, because the figures are so small.

Nice! The blue-grey palette has a modern touch that fits well with the models. I might use it for the next faction.

Edited to add: the drones are cool. The digital camo rocks :)

Thanks.
I actualy wanted to paint the vehicles in a digital pattern, but decided against it. I guess it works on the drones as they are small and because it's a smooth surface.
