Number of Regimental colours at time of Sedgemoor

Hi,

I'm just exploring the possibility of collecting some figures for Sedgemoor.

How many colours (flags) would a regiment have carried?

Would each company have carried one (as in the ECW) or would it have been two or possibly three?

It would appear that the James's army captured 22 of Monmouths flags - which works out at least 4 per so called 'battalion', (+ a couple for the cavalry) - would Monmouths army have carried more colours than the Royalists?
