With Golden Demon out the way and having already started on the next massive project for next year i have been looking for a little side project to keep the old painting fingers limber. I have been asked to join my mate in a doubles tourney in February. As i havent got a 40k army any more and I have decided to get my Armageddon Steel Legion army that has been sat in the “Cupboard of Awesome” unbuilt and unopened for over a year now

First up the vets



As you can see the troops are going to be slightly converted Death Korps of Kreig models

Well there will be a little grime but not like they just rolled out of Glastonbury, but they will be based on a armageddon wilderness type base so pretty much think mad max with oil slicks, barbed wire, minefields etc

Right the tester is finished, just a little dirt and grime to be added and then on to a base.



think all the colours are true to a Steel Legion uniform, well from the art work i can find anyway

Although I'm a smidge disappointed that you painted the chainsaw housing with black and yellow. I thought you might have gone with something a little less cheesy
