I haven't been in the miniature hobby long, so one of my first "bulk" figure purchases was the short-lived Rackham Confrontation Army of the Ram set. Although the figures were fine, I never liked the plain "green turf" bases and box space wasted on terrain and tape measure. To practice finished bases, I repainted all the factory ones to match extra miniatures purchased to fill the ranks. The new terrain style was to go along with a Diablo-esque "blood crypt" location. Pieces of Wargames Factory skeletons (terrible to build) were incorporated, along with tiny bits of mica textured paper and metal discs to weight the figures.
