DUST fliers pics up
« on: 13 October 2012, 04:26:37 PM »
Seem to be pics up of the new DUST fliers and the artwork for the Icarus expansion seems to show an idea for the US variant. Interesting concepts, though possibly a little too futuristic. Beautiful paintwork though, wow.

I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these! Reminds me of the old Nitto SF3D Fledermaus model. Love the Quonset huts! Those will be useful in a lot of different gaming systems.

Lovely paint work as usual by the Dust fellows! And that flier looks ace....apart from the big straw sticking out of the front!! The cannons nearly longer than the plane!!!!!

I believe that is supposed to be a 7.5cm a.t. gun. It looks about right when compared to the ones mounted on the wartime HS-129b ground attack aircraft.

Yep the gun is a 75mm gun off a Panzer IVH - those German planes were tank killers

not sure..I've always thought there was something a bit futuristic about the Lightning body shape, and a nice counterpoint to the German design

but where's the Typhoon re-vamp that I want to see?

One of the Dust comics has a nice pic of a Typhoon-ish type RAF fighter.
